How do you make money in Real Estate?
Real estate investment can be a risky business, although the principals are rather simple. The purpose of this article is to show you the basics of how you can earn money as a real estate investor.
The basic concept of real estate investment is buying and selling your real estate to make a profit. This is normally done by buying a property for a certain price that is below the market average, and selling it later on at a higher price.
It’s not a hard concept to get your head around, as all you have to do is understand that the real estate market, like stocks and shares, rises and falls. You buy your piece of real estate when it’s at a low price, and end up selling it after it’s increased.
However, while the concept is pretty basic, there are generally four types of real estate investors.
The first is the one who plays it safe. These investors own their homes and will invest in other real estate, but will be cautious and weigh up all the positives and negatives of buying new property.
Secondly you have the investor who owns their own house plus one or two other properties as well. They build up their chain by doing it in small manageable steps rather than taking massive risks with their money.
The third type of investor is the one who will take risks when acquiring properties, always going for the good deals and regarding money as rather a means to buy properties, rather than having as much as possible.
Finally you have the hardcore investors. These investors will trawl through the papers every day, searching for the best deals and buying up everything they can see that will make a profit. More notably, these types of investors do it full time and intend to earn a life time living by purchasing property.
